HOME Artist Statement My practice unfolds at the intersection of painting and writing, conceived as interdependent components of a single research process. I often begin with staged photographs that I produce myself, using the body as a device to investigate tensions between the individual and historical structures. These images are later transformed through painting, where gesture and composition reveal dynamics of vulnerability, conflict, and ambivalence. My research is informed by philosophical references, particularly Albert Camus’ writings on the absurd and Oswald Spengler’s socio-historical analysis, which I place in dialogue with visual practice to question the contemporary human condition.Writing operates both as a critical reflective space and as an autonomous poetic form. Through themes such as identity, memory, and transformation, my work creates a field of tension in which image and language become tools to expose the contradictions of the present. My pictorial search took me to various european countries, asia and north america, traveling, investigating mainly the understanding of behavior, the idea and the inherent being. In 2021 i moved my atelier in Munich, where i work and continue my expressive research.
