Before there was Configuratio, before Geometry of Fragility, before Freefall, there was a more elementary question.

These paintings mark the moment in which the body ceased to be simply a subject and became a way of thinking. Looking back, they reveal the first attempts to understand identity, space, colour and the relationships that later became the foundation of the research.

They are not a finished project. They are the place where the questions first became visible.
