Moving through colour, memory, cities and the body, the book approaches words and images as interdependent languages.
Writing carries forward questions that emerge through painting, while painting gives material form to experiences that exceed language.

LONDON

The giant’s eye controls my movements.
Each human body reveals its condition
beneath an orange aura that envelops me
like the aroma of coffee emanating from pubs.
People crowd into a corner
to watch the queen weep.
They feel no sadness:
their lives unfold elsewhere.
Not so for Innocent X,
who tears himself to shreds.
